INDIANA BASS FEDERATION
2014 BROOKVILLE INVITATIONAL

In partnership with A2O Boating Supplies and Pro Shop, American Boat and Yacht Fiberglass Repair, Dixie Marine and Lucas Oil Marine Products, the 2014 Brookville Invitational was held Sunday, April 13, at the Garr Hill Ramp. There were 65 Anglers and 65 Co-Anglers who battled the wind for 9 hours. Despite the wind, it was warm and comfortable. 39 Anglers and 23 Co-Anglers were able to bring a combination of smallmouth and largemouth to the scales. The Angler winner, Lewis Mallory of Martinsville, brought a 5 bass limit of largemouth and smallmouth to the scales weighing 11.58 lbs. Lewis was the 2011 Co-Angler winner of the IBF Forrest L. Wood Classic. This was Lewis’ first win since switching to the Angler division. This win netted Lewis $ 2,661.75

Dustin Riggs of New Castle, Indiana bested the Co-Anglers with a 3 fish sack of Brookville smallmouth. Dustin’s three weighed 7.28 lbs and netted him his first win in his 3 years with IBF. Dustin took $1,330.88 back to New Castle. A big thanks to Rick Frame of Frame’s Outdoor in Liberty Indiana for hosting our registration meeting in his fabulous Indoor Archery Range.

Remember, the WISH tournament is Saturday, April 19th at Patoka. If you have questions contact Jeremy at A2O Boating Supplies and Pro Shop; 812-282-4636. The next IBF tournament is at Rocky Point on the Ohio River, May 31 and June 1. These are two separate tournaments – two separate sets of points and payouts.
