
IU Wins 2005 Minnow Bucket Tournament
March 26th, 2005:Nineteen students from Indiana University and sixteen students from Purdue University all came together at Raccoon Lake in Rockville, IN to compete in the 2005 Minnow Bucket tournament. Despite the cold and rainy weather, Purdue hosted a very successful tournament. Two students, each from opposing teams, were randomly selected and paired with one of our seventeen drivers who graciously volunteered their time to assist us in this annual competition. The students fished from 7am until 3pm while the drivers assisted in taking them to spots of their choice. At the end of the day, Indiana University with 25.6 pounds was victorious in defeating the 3-year running champion team of the Purdue Boilermakers with only 22.0 pounds.
