Jason caught 9 largemouth equalling 100 inches of fish, Billy had 6, at 75
inches, and Lonny had 4 measuring 45 inches. All the fish were measured in
the boat, documented on paper then released right where they were caught,
except for one of Billy's fish that was of legal keeper size. We put him in
the livewell and got a picture of them, and released it after all the kids
got to see him.

The Goshen Boy's & Girl's Club helped us get together with some kids that
really are interested in bass fishing, and they are helping us learn to work
with the kids. Support for the program has been overwhelming, The Travel
Tender tackle pro shop, has donated 12 new rods & reels for the kids to use.
Farm Bureau Credit Union gave us a check for $100.00, Wal-Mart gave us a
gift certificate for $50.00, and Smoker Craft has donated a 14ft Big Fish,
aluminum boat with a 15hp electric start Mercury Outboard, plus a trailer to
use for a raffle prize. We are getting the tickets printed as soon as they
can get to them.
We are now planning another outing with the kids this season we just have to
squeeze them into our schedules. We also have some environmental projects in
the works for latter in the off season. We'll be keeping you updated on
their escapades. The name of the chapter is "The Crystal Valley Jr.
Bassmasters" and they are an official Bass Federation Youth Chapter.
