NO APPLICATION FEES FOR TOURNAMENTS IN 2006
The most recent 3 ½ hour meeting with the DNR's Attorney, Review Judge and the appointed Federation Committee could not come to an agreement on Application Fees. Finally the attorney brought in the Director of the DNR and his assistant that is over Parks and Reservoirs. After much discussion, the Director agreed to resend the application fee for tournaments for 2006 and ask for this committee to meet with him directly next September (2006) to discuss 2007 fees.
Our President is very busy with meetings between the "TBF, INC" and ESPN/Bass I would suggest that you visit the following web sites as they are news media sites.
Also look at the BASS or Federation web sites. You may have to hunt through different pages until you find anything dealing with the meetings that are going on.
As soon as I receive anything from our President it will be posted. Thank you for your patience.
TO ALL INDIANA CLUBS. BASS HAS STATED THAT IT ONLY TAKES SIX MEMBERS TO REMAIN A CLUB IN GOOD STANDING {$15.00]/MEMBER]WITH THE REMAINING $5.00 DUE ON MARCH 31ST 2006. IF YOUR CLUB FEELS THAT THEY NEED TO SEND IN DUES THEN DO SO . I CAN NOT TELL ANY CLUB TO WITHHOLD DUES. BASS HAS SAID THEY WILL WORK WITH ALL CLUBS AND SO WILL THE OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS OF THE INDIANA BASS FEDERATION.ANY DECISION MADE BY ANY CLUB WILL NOT AFFECT THE 2006 TOP-8 TOURNAMENTS. THIS HAS BEEN DECIDED BY THE BOARD AT DECEMBER 10TH BOARD MEETING WITH AN 11-5 VOTE. I HOPE ALL FURTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE PUT TO REST AT THE JANUARY 7th -14th NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN LEESBURG, FLORIDA.MY MAIN HOPE IS THAT ALL PROBLEMS WILL BE WORKED OUT WITH BASS/ESPN.DOUG BRADLEY -PRESIDENT, INDIANA BASS CHAPTER FEDERATION.
