To all I.B.F. club members
From I.B.F. Youth Director Edward Hazel:
I would like to ask each club for help at the following events this year. A single member from each club would be over 106 people available for help at the I.B.F. events.
(a.) The first event will be the D.N.R. youth camp at raccoon lake June 24, 2010. There will be needed 15 boats with operators all day .the boats will be giving the kids rides around the lake in groups. The I.B.F. needs to help these kids to learn to get out of the house and out from in front of TVs and computers.
(b.) The second is the Hoosier outdoor experience at Fort Harrison September 15th (youth day) and 17, 18th for everybody young or old. The I.B.F. missed this event last year because of no help. So could we as a great organization of Indiana show our support and make this happen this year. I plan on having a booth there this year to hand out information about our organization and to have kids casting events on site. We will need about 20 helpers from the clubs 30 would be better to make this a great experience visually for the I.B.F.
(c.) The third event would be for your club to hold a kids casting event in your area. The material can be sent to you and your club can pick a site and run this event. Please provide the time for the youth in your area. Remember they are our future, where will the I.B.F. be in 20 years without them??????
As Youth Director of the I.B.F. i will be holding (3) tournaments this year for the juniors. Please let all members and friends and also family know about this dates.
(1.) June 26, 2010 Lake Lemon (Central area)
(2.) August 28, 2010 lake Wawasee (Northern area)
(3.) September 19, 2010 West Boggs Lake (Southern area)
Also the lake lemon event will be where we add our 11 to 14 age group to go to Gainesville, GA. In August 2010. This will have the I.B.F. sending two youths there instead of just the one from the 15 to 18 age group. Please feel free to contact me if you need future information or any additional help.
I apologize for the lateness of all these request but the budget for the youth division will not be made whole or to say approved until the June 12, 2010 meeting by vote of the directors.
Please email or mail me the names and addresses along with phone numbers of all members that will be able to step up too the plate and help this year. And at what event or all??
As this letter has said, there are over 105 with just one from every club. I am asking for less than 50. That's about less than 1/2 of a man or woman from all the clubs or better you do the math and lets say that at least 1 (one) person will be able to help.
Please let me remind all your clubs and members that Eldon Crabtree has a event at Giest Lake (Veterans Tournament) August 14, 2010. Please help Eldon with attendance or entry at this event or just to help out I will be there and Mark Shane also we will be operating the grill.
Thanking all members in advance for your consideration of my request,
Edward Hazel
