 Top 8 Info - June 9 & 10, 2007
Zone 2 had it's Top 8 on Lake Monroe on June 9th and 10th. The weather was good but unfortunately the fishing wasn't as good. The bite was slow, but some were able to figure them out and came out with a good catch. The top 8 teams were First String Bass Masters with 44.07 lbs. Second was Mid-river Bass Anglers with 39.66 lbs. Next came Shakamak Bass Masters, 39.14, Stump Jumpers with 37.57, Hendricks County Bass Masters with 36.45 lbs. Sixth place was Hard-Luck Bass Masters at 30.65, Cataract Hawg Stalkers with 26.52 lbs. and eighth place went to Hoosier Bass Organization with 26.51 lbs. The top individuals were:
Rod Keel, Leroy McGregor, Walter Class, Kenny Swint, James Berry, Donnie Vaughn, Dan Guard, Dave Goodman, Brandon Lopossa, Chad Smith, Jeff Ellis, Bobby Adams, John Fritz, Frank Schiffhauer, Brian Beaumont, Gary McLean, Kenneth Reed, Demetrius Patton, Bob Southers, Ernie Bennett.
It took 7.15 pounds to make the cut and Rod Keel came in with a two day total of 6 fish weighing 17.99 lb.. Congratulations to all and good luck at the Rocky Point. We would also like to give big thank you to Paul Jolly and his Hoosier Open Team for running the tournament for us.
