Record Catch at Geist Reservoir Tournament

The Connersvile Bass Club held it's 5th tournament of the year on Geist Reservoir on Weds. July 9th. 2008. Twelve anglers participated
in the event. The water temp. was about 75 degrees and the air temp.
was in the 80's. The
clouds and threatening rain moved out about 11AM. There was a huge mayfly
hatch with millions of mayfly's to greet us when we arrived at the ramp at
6AM that morning.
Deacon Cashdollar came in with the single largest 5 fish limit ever
weighed
in at a Connersville Bass Club tournament. Deacon had a 5 fish limit that
weighed 18 pounds and 10 ounces. His largest fish was 4 pounds and 10
ounces. Congratulations Deacon that was a great day of fishing.

Mike Bennet who was second with 3 fish weighing 8lb. 2oz. with a 4 oz
deduction for a dead fish Mike's total weight was: 7lb. 14oz.
Terry Dye SR. was third with 2 fish weighing 7lb. 2oz. and big bass
with a fish weighing 4lb. 12oz.
