Top 8 District 8 Zone 3 Stats
(May 31 and June 1, 2008)



The Top 8 Tournament was held at Brookville Lake on Saturday and Sunday, May 31, and June 1, 2008.

12 Teams participated in the event. 12 places go to the State Finals.

1st. Place went to Kenny Bortlein of the Gadabouts Bass Club with a two day total of 21.75 pounds.

2nd. Place went to Deacon Cashdollar of the Connersville Bass Club with a two day total of 18.45 pounds.

3rd. Place went to Rob Kelley of the Blue River Bass Club with a two day total of 18.15 pounds.

Big Bass on day 1 went to Duane Toney of the Brookville Bass Club with a 4.0 pound largemouth with a .25 pound deduction for a dead fish putting his weight at 3.75 pounds.

Big Bass on the second day and overall Big Bass went to Doug Ruster with a 3.80 pound largemouth.

The Gadabout Bass Club finished first in the team totals with 67.75pounds. Connersville Bass Club finished fifth in the team totals with 49.35 pounds.

Deacon Cashdollar had two 5 fish limits for a total of 18.45 pounds, finished 2nd. overall and will be going to the State Finals as a boater.

David Cashdollar had 6 fish for a total of 11.80 pounds finished seventh overall and will be going to the State Finals as a non-boater.

Our next tournament is at Patoka on June 11&12. Weigh-in duties the first day are the responsibility of Billy Wayson and Dave Spaulding. Weigh-in duties the second day of the tournament are the responsibility of Carl Parret and Deacon Cashdollar. Tom Blair will be the tournament director as always.
