On September 11th, 2004, the CONNERSVILLE BASS CLUB, along with CONNERSVILLE PARKS & RECREATION hosted FISH FOR FUN at Smalleys Lake. A total of sixty kids showed up. Parks & Recreation served hot dogs, chips, and drinks. A total of fifteen new rod & reels, and various packets of bait were given as prizes. The CONNERSVILLE BASS CLUB members assisted the kids, and gave tips on fishing.
