On April 21st we had our first tournament of the year held on Manitou with 19 men fishing cool 41 degree temperatures and 13 m.p.h. winds. At one of our best weigh-ins since 2002 we had 48 fish brought to the scales weighing in at 79Lbs. 13Oz. a great result. First place honors went to Sam Taskey who claimed a spot in our record books for his 5 fish weight of 10Lbs. 14Oz. Second place went to Scott Vollmer who brought 5 fish to the scales weighing 9Lbs. 4Oz. Third place was earned by Wayne Eades who also had a limit of 5 weighing 8Lbs.2Oz. Big bass went to Sam Taskey with a 3Lb. 15Oz. Largemouth.
