The Commission gave final adoption to the rule version below. However, the rule is not yet effective. The Attorney General has 45 days in which to review as to legality; the Governor has up to 30 days in which to approve; and subsequently, the rule is forwarded (if approved) to the Publisher (Legislative Services Agency) for filing. The rule amendments would then become effective 30 days after filing with the Publisher. The rule package will be submitted to the Attorney General tomorrow.
With this timeline, the rule amendments may be effective sometime in early July. Effective date could be earlier if the approving authorities do not use their full statutory time limit.
