For our 2012 Classic we followed Dave Pross and Max Kelly to Sturgis, MI. where we fished Klinger Lake.
On Saturday eight contenders fought cold and winds to try to be classic champ. At the end of day one 6 fish were brought in for a total weight of 8 Lbs. 2 Oz. with Leslie Shelley taking big bass honors and the early classic lead.
Sunday brought slightly warmer air but also rain, this lake held its fish tightly as only 5 fish were brought to the scales with a total weight of 14 Lbs. 6 Oz. with Bob Lawson taking big bass honors. With the 2 day totals in 16 fish were weighed with a combined weight of 22 Lbs. 8 Oz.,
Wayne Eades captured first place with 6 Lbs. 6 Oz.
Henry Cavazos took second with 5 Lbs. 12 Oz.
Sam Taskey was third with 2 Lbs. 14 Oz.
