Congratulations Abygale and Hunter!

Two members of the IBF South Trail and Salem high school students recently competed in the High School Fishing World Finals in Lacrosse Wisconsin. Abygale Boyd and Hunter Trainor competed for 4 days against 393 other high school  teams from 34 states and 3 other countries for millions of dollars in prizes and scholarships. The duo was the top overall finishing team from Indiana and made it through Fridays semifinal round to qualify for the World Finals held on Saturday June 24th which had the top 31 teams from the event competing against one another for the world championship title.
 
Abygale and Hunter were also the highest finishing co-ed team of the event and received 2 different scholarship offers for their efforts. Kentucky Christian University offered a $100,000 scholarship and Simpson University offered a $160,000 scholarship. They qualified for this event by competing in the Indiana Bass Federation youth/high school tournament trail which is open to all student anglers throughout Indiana.
