Indiana Bass Federation Youth – Conservation – Fishing
Two of our IBF South junior anglers recently competed in the TBF Junior World Championship on Sooner Lake in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Sam Elliott and Myles Motsinger along with 51 other teams from across the country battled a tough fishery and temperatures exceeding 102 degrees in the 3 day event. Sam and Myles were able to bring in enough Oklahoma bass on Wednesday and Thursday to secure the Northern Division championship and earn a spot in Fridays championship round which was cut to the top 12 teams. At the final weigh in on Friday the duo came away with a 4th place finish in the JWC and had the overall big bass of the event.
