IBF North High School Team Wins on Chickamauga

The Jacob Wheeler Fishing Foundation High School Bass Shootout was held on Chickamauga Lake.  Competing with a total of seventy five High School teams, Brady and Ryan led after the first day, with a three-bass limit of 13lbs 3oz. That included the big bass win of 6lbs 5oz.

On day two, the top seven teams were then paired with Jacob Wheeler and six other pros that came into town to take those teams out in a modified MLF format: catch, weigh and release, but keeping two fish in the boat for display at the end of the tournament.  The Indiana boys went out with pro angler, Dustin Connell, and were able to focus and get enough weight on day two to hold off some strong performances by the other teams.  They got 7lbs 8oz on day two for a two-day total of 20lbs 11oz, winning by two pounds!
