Do not enter the Walpole Indiana Reservation. It is duck season and closed to fishing. We have been told the Walpole Indians can get very aggressive and the area should be avoided. The reservation is the to east of the channels at the north end of Lake St Clair.
Some of the bass will be coming out of deep water and their swim bladders will be full of air. If they are floating in your live well they should be fizzed immediately to help insure you do not have to weigh in a dead fish. They may need to be fizzed even if they are caught in 3-4 feet of water. The video below explains why they need to be fizzed, what to look for and the proper way to fizz them. Help protect this important fishery.
