The 2024 Indiana Bass Federation Members Fishing Party was held at historic Lake Chickamauga in Dayton Tennessee, on Friday and Saturday November 8th and 9th.
Activity started with a dinner hosted by RHEA county Economic and Tourism Council on Thursday evening.
22 Teams from Indiana competed and as always a few guys found them. Beautiful weather greeted the anglers both days. The guys that did well found a couple of good fish to round out their bags.

The team of Tony Emberton and Tommy Pritchard won the event bringing in two limits of 12.63 and 17.13 totaling 29.76. A couple of 4-pound fish helped their cause. They won the $3000.00 first place prize which was guaranteed by the Indiana Bass Federation. They also brought home a $100 bonus for being the highest placing team with a Military Veteran on board. For using a boat purchased at Honey Creek Tackle of Bargersville they received a $250 award from Honey Creek.
Second Place team of Nick Bunte and Justin Bunte tried to repeat last year’s win with 26.56 lbs. They took home $600.00 and a couple of coolers for their efforts.
Third Place was Dave Schneider Jr and Dave Schneider Sr. They had two limits but were unable to find those kicker fish. Their 25.59 total was worth $500.00 and a $100 bonus for being the highest placing team with a parent and child.
Fourth place team of Chris Burk and Jimmy Clark had two limits totaling 25.50 lbs. They took home $400.00
Fifth place team of Tom Bowker and Kevin Williams had the big bag of the tournament of 19.82 pounds on the first day.. This was anchored by the Big Bass of the tournament weighing 6.31 lbs. They took home $300 and $1000.00 for the big bass. The big bass money was guaranteed by the Indiana Bass Federation.
Sixth Place, the team of Kelly Hook and Brad Moser took home the last check for $200.00 with a two-day total of 21.14 lbs.
First out of the money award presented by Just Add Water Boats of Indianapolis was won by Brad Jones and Jeff Slaga with 17.21
Brownies Marine of Fairland Indiana awarded $300 to Ernie McCormick and Ernie Thein for using a boat purchased at Brownies.
The team of Amy King and LeighAnn Pittman won $100 for being the highest finishing team with a female member.
The team of Charles Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson won the highest combined age team award.
The team of Jason Wulf and Jim Richmond won the farthest traveled team as they came from the Crown Point Indiana area.
Remember this tournament was designed to encourage membership in the clubs of the Indiana Bass Federation. At least one member of each team had to belong to an IBF club and the other had to live in Indiana.
