Dan Pardue

Morgantown, IN. Dan was an active member of the Martinsville Bass Ambassadors from 1979 to 2002. He served as an IBF West Zone Director from 1988 to 1992, IBF Vice President 1992 to 1996, and President 1997 to 1998. He was one of three finalists for B.A.S.S. Man of the Year in 1997. From 1999 to 2000 he was the IBF Environmental Director and 2000 to 2001 the IBF Public Relations Director. From 1997 to 2006 he ran the Adopt an Angler program which provided 2500 tackle boxes to camps throughout Indiana with tackle donated by IBF members. From 1980 to 2002 helped run the IBF booth at Indianapolis Boat Sport and Travel Show. He helped organize and run the IBF CMN and WISH Charity Tournaments, He also volunteered at the Fort Vallonia Boy Scouts of America Bass Tournament and the Conservation Officer’s Youth Camp. He also helped in the early year of the IU/Purdue Old Minnow Bucket Tournaments and the first Big Ten Bass Tournament. He helped build handicap docks at Sundance Lake in the Hoosier National Forest and presented the DNR with a $10,000 check from the IBF for docks at Lake Monroe. He also represented the IBF on the Sportsman Round Table. He assisted in numerous IBF State Finals as well as Northern Divisionals Tournaments,

While help directing the IBF and volunteering he was also fishing. He fished the IBF Invitational Trail for 20 years and made the prestigious State Team in 1987 and 1991.
