IBF Junior Anglers Program
In this program young anglers who are in the 8th grade or less on the day of their last state federation Junior qualifier can join as TBF Junior members. Each team is required to provide their own boat and boat captain.
It is strongly encouraged to establish a partner and a boat/boat captain prior to registration. However, if you are unable to do so, just fill out the registration as a “Non-boater” and we will do all we can to team you up with another single angler for the season as well as help find a volunteer boat captain for each tournament.
Once a partner is established, that will be the pairing for the season. Points are accumulated throughout the season as team standings. If a teammate cannot attend one of the tournaments we will allow the angler to fish alone. Due to regulations, there must be at least 3 people in the boat during the tournament, no exceptions. This could be a substitute, another single angler, a parent or other volunteer who has completed a liability waiver. Substitutions for registered anglers may only be used for 2 events per season. If a team chooses to use a substitute for more than 2 events, that team will be considered a new team and awarded points accordingly. Anglers can fish alone with a non-fishing observer as the 3rd person and still accumulate points for the original team after 2 substitutions have been used.
In an attempt to reduce the amount of travel required and to hopefully increase the participation in the program, we have created a North and South tournament trail for the Indiana Bass Federation Junior Program. Anglers choose which division to compete in.

IBF Student Angler Federation (SAF) – High School Program
Open to all 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade high school students. The tournament format is 2-person teams and teams are required to have their own boat and captain. Once a partner is established, that will be the pairing for the season. Points are accumulated throughout the season as team standings. If a teammate cannot attend one of the tournaments, we will allow the angler to fish alone. Due to regulations, there must be at least 3 people in the boat during the tournament, no exceptions. Exciting News for 2020 – We’re officially a sanctioned trail which means we can offer our top anglers a true National Qualifying Spot at our High School Fishing World Finals & National Championship. (With No Entry Fees).
